This is a fine Baldwin piano manufactured in the U.S.A. during the peak period of Baldwin’s quality manufacturing, when their Cincinnati factory had an incredibly high standard of workmanship. It was designed jointly with C. Bechstein, the renowned German piano company.
The model M stands as one of the great pianos of its size (5’3”). From the top register down to the lowest bass notes, there is a richness that is terribly hard to find in a baby grand.
The action is also on a level suitable for the most advanced player. When playing this piano, the pianist can impart expression from the gentlest pianissimo to a raging fortissimo, always rewarding one with clean yet warm sound – a rare combination to find in any piano, much less a piano of this size.
