This GS 42 George Steck piano is an inexpensive option for all pianists. A classic and beautiful baby grand, it is finished in high-gloss ebony and is equipped with the self-playing software made by PianoDisc, and like this piano itself, was manufactured through the renowned Mason and Hamlin Piano Company of Boston, Massachusetts, who owned Steck piano until 1994, hence the MH in its serial number.

We estimate the manufacture date of this instrument to be circa 1993. It’s compact 4’7″ size and high quality, beautiful tone allows it to fit in almost any location.

The George Steck Piano Company was established in 1858 in New York City. In 2004, Steck was licensed to Sejung until 2012, when at that time Parsons Music acquired Sejung. The Steck pianos are now being made by Samick’s Nanjing Moutrie Piano Company in Nanjing, China.
